This Privacy Policy explains how Halerka Digital collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit https://halerka.digital/, contact us, or enter into a business relationship with us.

01

Who We Are

Halerka Digital is a software-development agency operated by:

ФОП Грогуль Юрій Васильович Україна, 35604, м. Дубно, вул. Івана Мазепи буд. 15 Email: contact@halerka.digital

For personal information covered by this Policy, the operator identified above generally acts as the data controller.

02

Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal information processed through the Halerka Digital website and in connection with inquiries, proposals, client relationships, vendor relationships, and other business communications.

It describes this website. Product-specific privacy notices, where required, will be published separately for products operated by Halerka Digital. They are not part of this update.

When Halerka Digital processes personal information solely on behalf of a client as part of a software-development engagement, the client may be the data controller and Halerka Digital may act as its processor or service provider. That processing is governed by the applicable client agreement and any data-processing terms in that agreement.

03

Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you contact us by email or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive:

  • Your name;
  • Your email address;
  • Your telephone number, if you provide it;
  • Your company, organization, and job title;
  • The contents of your message;
  • Information about a proposed project, requirements, budget, or timeline;
  • Files or other materials you choose to send;
  • Records of our correspondence; and
  • Contract, billing, and transaction information if you become a client or vendor.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and we have specifically requested it.

Information collected automatically

When you request a page, our website hosting provider may process ordinary request data needed to deliver and protect the site. That can include an IP address, browser or device information, the requested URL, date and time, and information used to detect errors, abuse, or security incidents.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics also receives the measurement data described in Cookies and Similar Technologies. If you do not accept, or if no valid preference can be read, Google Analytics is not loaded and we do not send that measurement data to Google.

04

How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
  • Evaluate proposed projects and prepare estimates or proposals;
  • Take steps requested by you before entering into a contract;
  • Deliver and manage contracted services;
  • Administer client, vendor, and professional relationships;
  • Maintain business, accounting, and contractual records;
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
  • Understand aggregated website usage when analytics is accepted;
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use website information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

06

Cookies and Similar Technologies

This website can use Google Analytics 4 after you accept analytics. Advertising features are not used. We keep advertising consent denied, disable advertising personalization, and disable Google Signals in the tag configuration.

We use Google’s basic consent mode worldwide. Until you accept analytics, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and no Analytics measurement is sent to Google. Rejecting analytics also leaves the tag unloaded. You can continue browsing without making a choice; in that case Analytics stays blocked.

Analytics choice storage

If you accept or reject analytics, we store that choice for six months in first-party storage on this device: a cookie named halerka_analytics_consent and a matching first-party local storage entry. The stored value records only whether analytics was accepted or rejected, a format version, and an expiry time. It does not include the contents of messages you type on the website.

If that preference is missing, older than six months, malformed, or cannot be read, we treat it as no choice and do not load Google Analytics.

You can change the choice at any time through Privacy settings in the website footer. If you withdraw a previous acceptance, we stop Analytics collection, delete Analytics cookies that this website can access, and reload the page with Analytics blocked.

What Google Analytics receives after acceptance

After acceptance, this website loads Google’s tag for measurement ID G-DPP6FXG0BN from Google’s servers and sends measurement to Google Analytics. We configure the tag so page URLs and referring URLs are sent without query strings or fragments. We do not send the contents of emails or other information you type into messages as Analytics events.

Google Analytics may still receive information that Google’s tag collects as part of standard page measurement, such as a page path, page title, approximate device or browser information, and a first-party Analytics identifier stored in cookies after acceptance. Google may also derive coarse location information from the network request. We do not independently verify every field Google may store in its Analytics interface.

Analytics cookies after acceptance

When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies on this domain, commonly including _ga and a property-specific cookie such as _ga_DPP6FXG0BN. Those cookies are used by Google Analytics to distinguish browsers and persist a session. They are not set by this website before acceptance.

What we do not do with this tag

We do not use this website for advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-context behavioral advertising. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain denied in the consent settings. Google Signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled in the tag configuration.

Hosting and other technical processing

Fonts and the website’s existing script and style dependencies are served from this website rather than from third-party font or library CDNs. Requesting those files still involves our hosting provider’s ordinary logs. Your email application handles messages you send to contact@halerka.digital until they reach our mailbox.

07

When We Share Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • The website hosting provider that serves this site, currently GitHub Pages;
  • Google, as provider of Google Analytics, and only after you accept analytics;
  • Email and business-communication providers that carry messages you send to us;
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors;
  • Contractors who need the information to perform services for Halerka Digital;
  • Government agencies, courts, or other parties when disclosure is required by law; and
  • A buyer, successor, or relevant adviser in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing, or sale of all or part of the business.

Providers acting on our behalf are permitted to process personal information only for the relevant service. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

08

International Transfers

GitHub and Google may process information in countries other than Ukraine, including the United States. Their processing is described in their own privacy notices and terms. This Policy does not claim a specific transfer contract, certification, or safeguard beyond what those providers publish for their own services.

09

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

In general:

  • Unsuccessful or preliminary business inquiries may be retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive communication;
  • Client and vendor records may be retained for the duration of the relationship and afterward for the period required by accounting, tax, contractual, or legal-claims obligations;
  • The analytics choice stored on your device is kept for up to six months, or until you change it;
  • Where the Google Analytics property settings are available to us, we set user-level and event-level data retention to two months and disable the option that resets that period on new activity. That property setting does not govern all aggregated reports or other processing Google may perform; and
  • Hosting logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s own systems. We do not publish a deletion schedule for those logs because we do not control it.

We may retain information longer when necessary to comply with law, resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or preserve evidence.

10

Your Rights

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have the right to:

  • Ask whether we process your personal information;
  • Obtain access to your personal information;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion or destruction of information;
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing;
  • Receive certain information in a portable format;
  • Withdraw consent, including through Privacy settings for analytics;
  • Learn about the sources, purposes, and recipients of your information; and
  • File a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.

People protected by Ukrainian law may submit complaints concerning personal-data processing to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or an appropriate court. If the GDPR applies, you may also complain to the data-protection authority in the country where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.

To exercise a right, email contact@halerka.digital. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Withdrawing analytics consent through Privacy settings stops further collection by this website’s Google Analytics tag and removes Analytics cookies this website can access. It does not by itself delete every copy of historical Analytics data that Google may already hold.

11

California Privacy Disclosures

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Google Analytics, when accepted, is used for website measurement, not for advertising on this site.

A browser “Do Not Track” setting does not change this website’s operation. Analytics is controlled by the Accept analytics and Reject analytics choices described above.

California residents may contact us to request access to or correction of personal information they have provided. If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to Halerka Digital, we will honor additional rights required by that law.

12

Children’s Privacy

The website and our services are intended for businesses and adult professionals. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

13

Information Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should therefore avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information by ordinary email.

14

Third-Party Websites and Services

Google’s handling of Analytics data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Analytics documentation. GitHub’s handling of hosting data is described in GitHub’s own notices. We do not control those providers’ independent processing.

The website may also refer or link to other organizations. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own policies.

15

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when our services, technology, providers, or legal obligations change.

The last-updated date shows when this document was published. Changes apply from the effective date of the revised document. A later version does not retroactively change how we used information already processed under an earlier version, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
